Placement

 

The primary objective of Placement Cell at AAC is to provide employment opportunities and professional training to the students to enhance their career prospects. It also plays a dynamic role in creating awareness among students regarding academic opportunities for higher studies and further guides’ students in developing skills and job-search strategies required to achieve their career objectives. The PC also plays a pivotal role in acting as a bridge between students, alumni and employers. The Placement Cell regularly organises Campus Interviews and students are encouraged to participate in both ON and OFF the Campus. To improve the skills related to Placement of Students a NME Course on Soft and Placement Skills are offered to the students.

 »  To invite Companies/Institutions/Organizations for campus recruitment.

 »  To organise programmes/courses that help students prepare for interviews, develop soft skills and focus on the development of the overall personality of the individual.

Functions

The key functions/responsibilities of the Placement Cell are

 »  To organize campus interviews for final year students with prospective employers.

 »  To help students to identify various job opportunities in the Government and Private Sectors.

 »  To prepare students to face interviews by arranging training programmes on areas such as aptitude tests, group discussion and technical and HR interviews.

 »  To facilitate students to attend ON and OFF Campus Interviews.

 »  To invite Professionals/Trainers from the Private/Corporate Sector to provide inputs to the students on the latest trends and the skills needed to succeed in the Private/Corporate sector.

 »  To provide students with Higher Education options in Institutes of repute like IIT, IIM, Central Universities and other top ranked Colleges in the Country.

 »  To prepare students for various jobs in the Central and State Government through Competitive Examinations.

 »  To create a platform to interact with Toppers/Achievers among students, individuals who have succeeded in Competitive Examinations and Professionals.

 »  To assist students in getting part time jobs while they are studying at AAC.
