The Rotaract Club of Arul Anandar College envisions itself as an unit of International Youth Organisation that supports and Promotes youth to play a vital role in the development of the Society. Our Mission is to encourage our members to become responsible citizens and competent leaders in future. The Rotaract club of Arul Anandar College has conducted programs which are the vital components of Nation building.

To familiarise with the Vision and Mission of Rotaract club, various Orientation programmes were organized by The Rotaract club of Arul Anandar College in association with Rotary Club of Madurai North West. We have conducted TNPSC group IV training to improve career opportunities. We also conducted eye awareness programme, eye check up camp, health awareness camp and blood donation camps.

We conducted seminars on Women’s participation in politics, transgender in society and women empowerment which created huge awareness among students and was very essential for our society to ensure the sustainable development of the country.

We were actively involved in creating awareness about cleanliness through Swatch Bharat Scheme, child abuse and child rights and facilitated social responsibility through Election awareness programme. We organized Samathuva Pongal in Melepacheri Village and an awareness programme on De addiction of Alcohol association with Madurai Collectorate. Documentary film show and Discussion was conducted in association with Loyola educational network for social communication. We also conducted programme to stimulate creativity and promote soft skills through leadership awareness programmes.


Rotaract clubs are part of a global effort to bring peace and international to the world .This effort starts at the community level but knows no limits in it outreach. Rotaractors have access to the many resources of Rotary international and The Rotary foundation.

Rotaract has evolved quickly in its short but dynamic history. In the early 1960s, Rotary club around the world began to sponsor university youth groups as community service projects. The 1967-68 RI presidents, Luther H.Hodges, and the RI board of directors considered this club activity to have internatoinal relevance, and Rotaract was approved in 1968 as an official program for Rotary clubs. The first club chartered was the Rotaract club of north charlotte, North Carolina, USA, on 13 March 1968.

Several decades later, the Rotaract program has grown into a strong, international network of9, 539 clubs in 178 countries and geographical areas. Rotaract's 2,19,397members are young men and women (ages 18 to30) who serve the need of their communities, widen their personal and professional contacts, and increase their understanding of the world.
