Dynamics of Autonomy

UGC guidelines of 1986 states: "Autonomy is not a reward for the past performance but a means to achieve higher standards and greater creativity in future. It is for this purpose that an autonomous College has the freedom to determine its own courses of study and syllabi, prescribe rules of admission, evolve methods of evaluation and conduct examinations." The degrees will be awarded by Madurai Kamaraj University and the name of Arul Anandar College will be mentioned in the diploma. To ensure proper management this autonomous college has? as per the UGC norms? the following statutory committees:
